These terms apply to merchants who install Navilu on a Shopify store. By installing the app you agree to them.
The service
Navilu runs A/B tests on your storefront and reports their results. It is provided as is, without a guarantee of a particular business outcome. Test results are statistical estimates; the app is designed to avoid declaring winners that are not real, but no method removes uncertainty entirely.
Your data
Navilu processes store, visitor and order data as described in the privacy policy, only to run your experiments and report on them, and acts as a processor of that data on your behalf. You are responsible for the notices and consent you give your own customers, including any cookie or tracking consent required where you sell. Navilu honours consent decisions recorded through Shopify's customer privacy tools.
If you turn on "Learn from other stores" in Settings, Navilu also uses the outcome of each of your finished tests that came from its catalogue of ideas (whether it confirmed a gain, a loss or no clear difference, and the measured change) in aggregate with other stores that turned it on, to show summaries to those stores. A summary appears only when at least 10 stores have finished a test of that idea, and never names a store or shows one store's results. Turning it off removes your tests from every summary at once.
Your theme
Navilu changes only the page elements you choose, through a script your theme loads. Removing the app removes the script. A shipped winner is served by the script until you make the change in your theme; you are responsible for making it permanent.
Fees
Navilu is free during the beta. Any future fees will be shown in the Shopify App Store and charged through Shopify, with notice before they apply.
Termination
You can uninstall at any time from your Shopify admin. We may suspend the service for abuse or to protect the platform, and will tell you why.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Navilu is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, which during the beta is nil.
